Residents of Anytown U.S.A. periodically begin searching for a change of furniture in their homes and offices. Perhaps their furniture seems a little out-dated to them, worn from their active children or grandchildren, or damaged from a pet. They might just be feeling like they want to change the decor in one room or their entire home or office.
Some of these people will begin their search at local furniture stores, spending hours looking at a variety of furniture colors, styles, and fabrics. Some things they take into consideration are the size and usage of the room or rooms to be furnished, wall color shades, carpeting or other floor covering and its color or pattern, and window treatments.
It is important that all these factors be brought into account. Assuming that they want to just replace furniture and not go into the task of choosing new flooring and draperies, it is essential that they have samples of carpeting and window treatments to avoid clashes that will ruin the appearance of the room.
